Got something useful to say about money in Singapore? I’d like to hear it. AssetVaultSG accepts guest posts from people who know their stuff, and advertising from finance brands that treat readers fairly. This page covers both.
Quick background if you’ve landed here first: I run AssetVaultSG on my own as an independent personal finance blogger. I write for locals, PRs, expats and investors in Singapore, and I cover personal wealth, banking, property, REITs, digital assets, business tech and expat money. You can read more on my About page.
Write for Us: Finance Guest Posts for Singapore Readers
I read plenty of finance blogs that recycle the same “5 tips to save money” article. I don’t want that here. I want posts that teach my readers something they couldn’t get from the first page of Google.
The best guest posts I’ve received came from people with hands-on experience. A mortgage broker explaining what banks actually look at. An expat who untangled a cross-border tax mess. A REIT analyst walking through gearing ratios with real numbers. If you’ve lived it, worked in it or studied it properly, you’re the person I want writing.
Who should write for us
- financial planners, analysts and researchers (licensed or not, as long as you write as education, not advice)
- property professionals and REIT investors
- fintech, crypto and Web3 folks who can explain things without the hype
- founders, freelancers and accountants who deal with business banking and corporate tech
- expats with real stories about moving, managing or protecting money across borders
- regular readers with a strong personal story, like paying off debt, buying a first HDB flat or building a dividend portfolio
Topics I’m Looking For
Write about anything that helps Singapore readers make better money decisions. Some ideas to get you started:
- Personal wealth and banking: CPF strategies, SRS, Singapore Savings Bonds, T-bills, fixed deposits, high-yield accounts, robo-advisors, insurance, retirement planning
- Property and REITs: HDB vs private property, cooling measures, mortgage refinancing, S-REIT analysis, property for foreigners
- Digital assets and Web3: MAS-licensed platforms, crypto tax treatment, custody and security, tokenisation, honest risk breakdowns
- Business and corporate tech: business accounts, payment gateways, accounting software, company incorporation costs, cash flow tools
- Expat and lifestyle assets: remittances, multi-currency accounts, what to do with investments when your pass ends, cost of living, financial planning for families
Got a topic outside this list? Pitch it anyway. If it fits Singapore readers, I’ll take a look.
Guest Post Guidelines
Finance content falls under what Google calls “Your Money or Your Life” topics. Bad advice here can cost people real money, so I hold every post to a high bar. Please read these before you pitch.
- Write something original. No posts published elsewhere, no rewritten versions of existing articles, and no unedited AI output. I check.
- Go deep. Most accepted posts run 1,200 to 2,500 words. Length alone won’t get you in, though. Substance will.
- Make it about Singapore. Use SGD, local products, local rules and local examples. Generic US-focused content won’t make it.
- Back up your claims. Link to primary sources like MAS, CPF Board, HDB, IRAS, SGX or company reports. Use current figures.
- Educate, don’t advise. Explain how things work and what the trade-offs look like. Don’t tell readers to buy or sell anything, and never promise returns.
- Show your experience. Real examples, numbers you worked through, mistakes you made. Readers trust experience over theory.
- Write like a person. Short paragraphs, plain words, active voice. Imagine explaining it to a smart friend over kopi.
- Add a short author bio. Two or three lines about who you are and why you know this topic, plus one relevant link to your site or profile.
I edit every post for clarity, accuracy and tone. I may cut sections, update figures or ask you for revisions. I’ll always share the final version with you before it goes live.
Advertise With a Singapore Finance Blog
If you run a finance brand, fintech app, bank product, insurance service or business tool that helps Singapore readers, you can advertise on AssetVaultSG.
My readers come here to make decisions. They compare accounts, research REITs, look for better ways to move money and plan for big purchases. That makes them a good audience for honest finance products, and a terrible audience for anything shady.
Advertising options
- Sponsored posts. A full article about your product or a topic tied to it, written by me or by your team and edited by me. Clearly labelled as sponsored.
- Product reviews. I test your product properly and write an honest review, including the downsides. You don’t get to approve it, and that’s exactly why readers trust it.
- Link placements in existing posts. A relevant mention in an article that already ranks and gets traffic, only where it genuinely helps the reader.
- Banner and display ads. Direct ad placements on selected pages or across the site.
- Custom partnerships. Comparison guides, explainers, giveaways or a series. Tell me what you have in mind.
Rates depend on the format, the topic and how much work goes in. Email me for current pricing.
How I handle paid content
I keep this simple and above board, because it protects my readers, your brand and both of our search rankings:
- every sponsored post, paid post and free review gets a clear label at the top
- paid links carry the
rel="sponsored"tag, in line with Google’s guidelines - I don’t send drafts of my own reviews for approval, and I don’t agree to “positive coverage only” deals
- I keep the right to turn down any product I wouldn’t feel comfortable showing my readers
You can read more about how I earn in my Affiliate & Advertising Disclosure.
What I Won’t Publish or Promote
Please don’t waste your time pitching any of these. I say no every time, regardless of budget:
- casinos, betting, gambling and lottery sites
- payday loans, unlicensed moneylenders or loan brokers
- unlicensed investment schemes, forex or crypto “signal” groups, copy-trading promises and anything offering guaranteed returns
- pyramid, MLM or “passive income” schemes
- crypto projects with no clear team, licence or real use
- adult content, CBD, vape or other restricted products
- pre-written articles stuffed with unrelated links
If a product needs a MAS licence to operate in Singapore and doesn’t have one, I won’t touch it.
How to Submit a Guest Post or Advertising Request
For guest posts, email me at [your email address] with the subject line “Guest Post: [Your Topic]”. Include:
- your proposed title and a short outline (bullet points are fine)
- two or three sentences on why you’re the right person to write it
- links to one or two pieces you’ve written before
Please pitch first instead of sending a finished article. It saves you from writing something I can’t use.
For advertising, email me at [your email address] with the subject line “Advertising: [Your Brand]”. Tell me about your product, the format you’re interested in, and your timeline.
I reply to every serious pitch within five working days. If you don’t hear back, feel free to send one polite follow-up. I’m based in India, two and a half hours behind Singapore, so expect replies during IST working hours.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept free guest posts?
Yes. If your post brings real value to my readers and includes no commercial links beyond your author bio, I publish it for free. Posts that promote a product, service or commercial link count as sponsored content.
Are the links dofollow?
Editorial links to helpful sources stay as normal links. Links in sponsored posts, paid placements and promotional content carry rel="sponsored". I follow Google’s rules on this because breaking them hurts everyone involved.
How long does it take to publish?
Usually two to three weeks from approval, depending on edits and my schedule. Sponsored content with a fixed date can go faster if we agree upfront.
Can I use AI to write my post?
You can use tools to help with research or outlines. The final post needs your own voice, your own experience and your own fact-checking. I reject anything that reads like raw AI output.
Do you accept crypto and Web3 content?
Yes, if it explains risks honestly and covers licensed, legitimate projects or platforms. No token shilling, no price predictions, no “to the moon”.
Can you write the sponsored post for me?
Yes. Many brands prefer that, since I know what my readers respond to. Mention it in your email and I’ll include it in the quote.
Will you remove or change a post later?
Sponsored posts stay live for the period we agree on. I may update figures or details later to keep them accurate, because outdated finance content does readers no favours.
Ready to Pitch?
If you’ve read this far, you probably care about doing this properly. Good. That’s exactly who I want writing for and advertising on AssetVaultSG.
Send your pitch to [your email address] or reach me through the Contact page. I look forward to reading it.
Kaushal Dave, AssetVaultSG
